how is boreals night skiing. i was thinking about goin up saturday night and skiing. got practice sat in the morning so i wont get up there till afer 2. what parks are open and is it any good?

 
it's pretty fun. after the sun goes down the snow gets really hard. they have a good amount of rails up that look pretty fun but the jumps are shit. night skiing is fun!

 
i went and had a good time at the squaw night setup the other day... the jumps were fun enough at any rate. how does it compare with the boreal setup?

riviera park+pipe. they groom it at 5, and cut the pipe fresh, so even if its icy, its still pretty fun. the pipe is pretty mini size, but still enjoyable.

they have some kind of rail line usually too.

Im prob going to go up on fri night to get some practice in .. where is everybody going? I dont like skiing alone.

Boreal has those night comps every other Friday. But watch out for the table landings, they hurt.

The rails/boxes/wallride are fun though.

 
last time i was there i had to bomb from mid mountain to clear that jump line.

it was a slopestyle last time, so i think it's a rail jam this time.

the jumps werent as bad this time, boreal is just super flat so its hard to get speed. they have some pritty niffty rails up

yeah the jumps were improved alot. it was a slopestyle again.

squaws park was fun tonight. the jumps are nice and theyre groomed at like 430 which means ya gotta wait a lil for the park to open. my friend and i waited 20 minutes for it to open cause we didnt want to have to deal with that god damn cable car again. thats the only bitch. if you pass the park, youre screwed. the only way back up is taking that big ass cable car. and the mountain run is slippery as fuck. its like an extremely thin layer of fresh and all ice underneath. i was sliding all over the place. fun but a bitch to get back up. they have two jumps, a middle big lip and a left smaller table type take off. you need a lot of speed to clear it though. i cased a few of em tonight. they had a down rail at the top...take a sharp left and you hit a c-down box thing and then a long down rail and then a battleship box. the pipe isnt very good of course neither am i but whatever. overall, i say its worth the 20 bucks. now time to try boreal
