Borat's response to kazachstan president

I have a couple questions abour this Borat guy, cause I only found out about him a couple days ago:

Is he actually from Khazakstan? Is he really stupid or is trying to be funny?

he's the same guy who plays Ali G. (Sasha Cohen) He's not from khazakstan, he's from england or something, borat is just a character he does. He's not serious, but people think he's serious.
 
i wish people would realize borat isn't just some idea for a movie.

ali g has been doing this on "da ali g show" for soooo long and its been hilarious for years

yeah most of the youtube clips are from 2003, then I saw the preview for the borat movie at jackass 2 and i was shocked. Its been a while

tis true but a lot of people do know him from it they just dont say so. If u havent seen the ali g show then i recomend u watch them because he has a lot of funny skits
