BOOYAH

Haha, that's always the next question. Heard nothing but good about those skis, good purchase. Where's reccomended on them? Or do you not have them yet?

Dope. So for mounting probably go with reccomended. It's designed to ride lots switch and ride pow, so if you're gonna be doing all mountain type riding you'll probably want them back from center. I have no idea where reccomended is though.

What are you planning on using them for?

recommended is -4. tanner rides true center, but he does for all his skis. i wouldn't go more than -2 though, cause theres already a limited amount of sidecut on them for groomers and mounting too far forward might F it up.

^ where do u kids come up with all this info? wrong info....

The ski is not meant to be mounted true center and I really doubt Tanner rides true center....probably minus 3 or around there.

This dudes onto it.

I'm 95% sure on this, factory recommended mount is -5 from true center. This is where the side cut is optimized. Tanner rides his at -3 as he skis more switch than the average rider buying these from a shop.

Ill try to find the thread where I found this info at.

For the thread creator, I'd either go for -5 (recommended), -4 if you plan on skiing switch a bit and -3 or -2 if you plan on skiing switch a ton.

Brent,

Thanks for the email

and most importantly thanks for picking up some JJs this season. I can 100%

guarantee you made a good selection and you will not be disappointed. If you’ve

never skied fat rocker technology, you’ll wonder where these skis have been

during your epic pow days of the past. I get stoked just talking about the JJ

and ARG; both skis literally change the way you will ski pow, and better yet

you’ll be able to ski longer as this technology relieves a lot of the effort

during the deep days. Without going on and on about the skis, let me get to

your questions. Our factory recommended mount point on the JJ is -5cm from

center; this point should be indicated on the ski by a line. To get the most

accurate measurement I would recommend measuring 82.5cm up from the tail and

mark your midsole there. At this point you will maximize the effective sidecut

underboot. Give that the sidecut is very compact on the JJ it is best to get

everything you can out of the sidecut, and subsequent turn radius. Anthony, JP

and Julien use our factory recommended line; however, Tanner and Jakob both

mount at -3cm from center because they ski and land switch quite often. If you

don’t plan on running the switch landing/skiing program too often definitely

mount at the factory recommended line. Hope this helps you out. If you have

any further questions please let me know. Thanks again and enjoy the

winter.

i would mount -2 from core center. But Thats what I like my pow skis at. and it will give you more tail for switch landing
