I don't know if this has been posted before, but I was just wondering if anyone could help me out.

I'm looking to buy new boots for next season, and I was wondering if it's worth purchasing a pair of boots that says they prevent shin bang? Does anyone know if they actually help prevent it? And if they do, could you give me some names of the boots that actually help? Thanks..

depends on how often and what part of the mountain you ski, I got some salomon xwave 8s and theyr perfect for me, stiff enough for the steep shit but nice and compfey for the park and no shin bang so far.

i got salomon xwave9s they were good all mountian but too stiff for park, gave me the worst shin bang ever. i even have pads in them. i have to get some park boots so no shin bang and use them everywhere this year cus im tight like that.
