Boots?

lookin to pick up a new pair of boots this year don't really know a ton about what's out there right now i've just got regular all mountain boots and i'm looking for something more freestyle oriented. any help is appreciated, much thanks

You mean a freestyle boots? Try the ]Salomon Synapse or Pledge. Synapse feels like a basketball shoe, most comfortable boot while Pledge is the same, a little softer, and both have an articulating cuff.

but seriously you're doing it all wrong. don't ask us for boot advice. get fitted. asking people what boots to buy is like asking your buddy with 20/100 vision what prescription glasses to buy.

there is no difference between "freestyle boots" and "all mountain boots".

at the end of the day, if it fits your foot, it fits your foot and that's the boot to ski in. for the most part "freestyle boots" are just boots with some fancy colours.

look at a lot of the top pros out there, if you pay attention to their boots, most are not skiing in a "freestyle boot". you'll find a lot are skiing in "race boots" because they fit their feet the best. there are a ton of edits out there where tanner hall is skiing in a Dalbello KR2 Pro and not in his Il Moro T "freestyle boot".

go into a bootfitter with an open mind and listen to what they have to say. you may not get a "freestyle boot" but your feet will be comfortable

Anything atomic with live fit will be super comfy without expensive tweaks and they come in any flex if you look outside of the overload line

while the live fit is a nice feature, it only helps with forefoot width issues. it can't help with navicular bone protrusions or ankle problems.

get a bootfitter

Not true at all. i know tons of park skiers who only use racing boots because they FIT. Most park boots are wide and do not fit narrow feet. Boot quality is all up to the size of your fot. SEE A BOOTFITTER!

Clearly you missed the sarcasm. Any idiot who thinks you need park boots for the park must not know anything about skiing. Thanks for chiming in
