boots

I recommend the boots that fits your feet when you drag your lazy ass to a store to try them on.

Boots targeted more towards intermediates tend to have a thicker liner, which will be warmer.

Buying boots without trying them on first is retarded.

I agree with Phunk. You HAVE to try boots on. Each company builds boots for different skiers (both for their feet and diff skiing styles). If your foot is wider, look at Rossi Bandits or Salomon 1080s (athough thats a stiff boot). I recommend the Atomic Tweak (bigger toe box this year)if your shop doeesn't carry them get them to. They're specifically designed for hucking with air cushions in the sole of the boot and dampened hinges . go to www.atomicsports.com and sheck out the system.

Oh yeah. The most important thing about getting boots is FIT!!!!!!!! If they're the top end boot and don't fit you well and cut off you circulation they're no good and will be very cold. Pressure points stop the flow of warm blood from your core to your feet and doesn't let cold blood get back up to get warm again. Another thing if you're a serious skier is FOOTBEDS. These are key, ask any pro. They'll turn a decent fitting boot into a glove (especially consider this if you have unique feet). Spend at least 100 canadian on footbeds, get form fitted ones like Comformables or SuperFeet that you have to stand on a platform to form.

Yeah, you really gotta try 'em on and just see how they feel to you.
