i need a jib boot, comfy and retail under 400. ive got 200 bucks to spend and ill get em pro form. start namn boots.

yu have to get the 1080 boots it is the softest and best freeride boot on the line but make sure you dont get the pros they are stiff. retail at $350

1) What size foot do you have? (If you know your boot size, even better) I may have some last year's stuff laying around that I could let go at half retail.

2) You want one of the Rossi Soft series. It's warm, comfy, and soft. This year's Soft3 is $375, I think.

1080 boots suck ditchpig... you can't remove the screws... or do anything to make em better... the best boot is actually the Xwave 10... its the same stiff shell as the 1080 'PRO' or Pocket rocket boot or whatever, except is has the plush liner of the x-wave seriers... it also comes with two boot plates... a hard plastic performance one and the soft rubber 1080 one. Plus, if the shell is too stiff, you can take the screws out and make it hella soft. Problem is that there pretty expensive.

for your budget, go for the Atomic Zone

Yeah he is right, I got the pros and took out the screws and cut them a little, now they're my own custom flex

If you look at the flex ratings on the Pro model boot they are labeled at 95, Xwave 9 at 100, xwave 10 at 110...not much of a difference. The Pro model boot skis a bit stiffer as well, the construction is slightly different. It should come down to which one fits better. There is not much of a price difference but many find that the pro models do not fit well. They are a bit narrower and have a tendancy to pinch the akiles (how the hell do you spell that). I love my pro model boots, but they were pretty uncomfortable for about 5 hard days of skiing. I had the xwave 9 and found they packed out too much for me....
