So late last season i landed pretty hard and one of my bindings broke. Luckily they were still under warranty so i brought them to the shop and they sent them back and got new ones finally shipped in. Today I go to the shop with my boots so they can put the new bindings on, but the guy says that my boots are too worn down and he is unable to fit the bindings on. I can still clip into my other skis no problem so I don't see why the hell he wouldn't be able to put the bindings on.
Luckily the Langes i own have replaceable toe and heel plates, so im gonna order some new ones so that i dont have to buy new boots. Has anyone had this problem though? Maybe someone who knows how to mount skis can tell me why its not possible to mount skis with worn boots?

If you're talking about mounting your bindings, they can do that without boots at all, they just need the length of the boot. and the same for moving the back binding, no problem at all. You have a crappy ski shop, thats all.
