Boots spoilers

So my boots have the removable spoilers (dalbello kr two pro) and I'm wondering if it's better to take them off for park? Pretty new but progressing really fast

I find that if you put them up high on the calf, it can reduce shin bang, as your leg has support further up the calf. Though really, experiment and see what works for you.

I used to get pretty bad shin bang from landing to back seat. Upped the height of my spoilers on my spks and reduced it by a significant amount, so that now I have to be properly backseat to get shin bang. However I did get calf bang which could be because it cut into my calf

Spoilers do 2 things: adjust the volume in the calf area and change the effective forward lean of the boot. If you have skinny legs, keeping the spoiler in will help reduce the amount of slop in the cuff area of the boot. If you have big calves, removing the spoiler creates room and relieves pressure.

As you adjust the spoiler, you also directly change the forward lean of the boot, at least how forward your leg sits in the cuff. For example, if you have a "normal" fit in the calf area but want a more upright stance to your boot, you can remove the spoiler. And conversely if you want more forward lean, you keep it in.
