Usually I'd say go for it, at least try.  But given the point in the season you are in, you will be without boots for possibly  4-6 weeks.  Trying to do warranties mid season sucks, it just does.  Plus, most companies are sold out of a lot product already.  You might send them in for warranty, wait the 4-6 weeks only to find out that the company wants to hook you up but they don't have anything to give you until next year.
Sucks.  I don't think your boot is safe to ski as it is, but warrantying you boot will mean you won't have a boot for a considerable while.  What size boot do you have? Give MP and BSL.
