Boots for wide feet.

any of the spks have a crazy wide last i belive. I havefull tilt hot doggers with wide feet and they fit decently, so u should look at those too
 
I would try them on first, but yes, Salomons are very good for people with wide feet.
But again - be sure to try them on first.
 
I always hear SPK's are wide. I tried them on in a store today and they were too tight. I ride lange boots currently. So I don't know whats going on there. I think its because of there only being two buckles, it seems to put pressure on a different part of your foot when you tighten it up.

Thats odd.

What spk did you try on? I have had problems in every boot ive had with them not being wide enough and i just bought the spk pros and they are so nice. I have a super wide foot and its like perfect. And i even had a tecnice vento boot designed for a wider foot and my spks feel nicer.
 
It was the Kreation. It wasn't so much that it wasn't wide enough as it wasn't deep enough I think. The top part of my foot felt pinched. It was actually terrible. I was pretty disappointed because my Lange boots don't fit me so well and I was hoping those would, but they were much much worse.
 
So like height wise they were to snug? They were wide but not enough volume above your foot?

I could understand that. I always need them to be wider but then they are to big around. so that must be why they feet me so good.
 
Yeah, I just thought there would be more room for my foot in general. I'd like to try on a tighter fitting boot like full tilt in a size one size bigger than my lange's, but its sort of hard to find stores that carry size 30 and 31 for me to try on.
 
You got some big feets. Thats probably why you had problems in the spk. But i have tried FT just for fun. my bro has the same size shell as my spk's and they are soooo small. Tight every where.
 
I have wide ass feet, my last boots were Atomic Wide Fits and I had them punched so far on the '6th toe' that if I'd gone any further the plastic would have split.

Moved into a Salomon SPK Kaos, even went down a size and they fit me so, so well... so yeah, probably a reasonable option.

Git' yee to a bootfitter?
 
My feet are really wide and I was looking at getting the SPK's and so I went to the local shop...turns oout spk's ....atleast the ones I tried on..were not good for wide feet...but then again thats diff. for everyone! LIke flashkick said...you gotta try em on though
