Bootfitting

I'm looking to treat my feet this season. Currently have a shit pair of boots, with custom insoles...moulded to someone else's foot.

Where'd you get fitted?

Is it a bad idea to get it done in Aus? If not should I just opt for custom soles to save money?

Spill the beans

First thing, chuck out your old footbeds if they are moulded to somebody else's foot.

Check out this site patriotfootbeds.com. They have footbeds and some pointers on how you might be able to fix up your old boots. Plus its based out of Jindy.

If not there are plenty of good boot fitters around jindy and thredbo.

Looks like they take a 'one size fits all' approach. That's probably a bad idea

I've skied about 50 days on mine and have been happy so far. Have pretty flat feet and have had customs before. Won't work for everyones feet but should work for most.

Oh rad. I have a flat foot too, and you recommend them?

I was actually probably going to get a pair just to replace my shitty ones. If they didn't work, then I was gonna fork out for a fully fitted pair + custom soles.

boots are tricky bro, you really want to get GOOD boots that fit YOU. the main hurt point is price, a $300 pair of full tilts in the US/Canada will cost you $800 in australia (not jk, srs)... personally im a big fan of custom foot beds, but you obviously need someone to do that for you, so prep ur anus for a $150 custom sole purchase.

what i would suggest is finding boots that fit you really fucking well (in australia), buy them and get them fitted, buy custom foot beds etc. drop the cash this once, and after a few seasons once they bucket out buy the same boots online for an nth of the price online.
