Bootfitters in the Tahoe area

Hey all, I have a friend who is looking to pick up new boots. We live in the Bay Area and the only ski shop is pretty pricey. I told her she'd probably have better luck with price/quality/value at a shop up near Tahoe, but I've never been to any myself. Any recommendations? Thanks!

people seem to like the bootfitters we have at squaw, I dont get my work done by them though so i cant speak personally about it. i get my boot stuff done at the shop i work at in Reno and it seems pretty legit. Granted I havent gone through the bootfit experience a whole lot, but the custom footbeds my coworker are a dream and completely changed my game

My current fave is Tahoe Sports Hub. The fitters at Starthaus are arguably the best in the area but their selection of boots isn't great if you're planning on buying there (unless you're a racer).

You can try bobo's, but there are options where people will pay more attention to you, rather than bouncing back and forth between 15 customers and consistently forgetting who you are and what you are there for. Try Tahoe Sports Hub in Truckee.
