Bootfitters in Bellingham or Washington

Last winter I bought a pair of brand new dalbello krypton rampage boots off ebay for $60 shipped (because the ones I got professionally fitted 2 years before were terrible and didnt ever fit too well). However, the boots I bought are tiny (they are 24.5s and I wear a size 8.5-9 shoe), and because of this to keep my heel from moving around and my toes from slamming into the front, I need to tighten the boots so much that it cuts off my circulation.

Where would you recommend for me to go to get these boots punched out/worked on? I am trying to find a shop that wont charge too much because I didnt buy the boots from them but will do a good job. Bellingham is my preferred location, except anywhere between Vancouver BC and Seattle will work. Also, how much should I expect to pay?

Honestly, I wouldn't trust anyone in town to do this necessarily. I got my Initutions done out at Glacier Ski Shop, but I wouldn't let them punch plastic. Maybe Fairhaven Bike and ski if Rowan or Eric are working, Rowan's a good friend and knows what he's doing... Eric (if he still works there) is fuckin awesome too. But other than that... Seattle Ski would be my choice.

Go see Hayes at southcenter REI. He's a certified Masterfit University bootfitter, 4+ years experience just fitting boots, and has all the tools to make precise measurements and adjustments for your foot/boot needs. This is his last year at REI (in the US for that matter).

REI has a terrible reputation for ski work of any kind, so make sure you go only to the Southcenter location and ask for him (or just ask for their bootfitter).

How much work do you need done? How abnormal are your feet? There are plenty of people who drive from Bellingham to Seattle for boots. The other way around? Not so much.

i drove to seattle ski to get skis mounted. both pairs i have had done in bellingham have fucked up. oh my life...

The boot fitters at EVO are pretty good. Always super friendly and actually know what they are talking about. That's where I've always gone and never had a problem

The head raptor 115 is probably one of my favorite boots of all time. It has a good fit, and is more powerful than most 130s.

The Atomic Redster 130 is fkn awesome though, and I want to spend some more time with it.

Top spot is still a mix of the Lange RX130 and Tecnica Cochise 130, depending on what you want.

The Salomon X3 130 also deserves mention, just is a terrible fit for my foot.
