Bootfitter?

So I'm looking to buy new boots for next year and so far I have just been to sportsmans chalet in bellingham. I have size 30.5 right now and they dont even carry park boots (Full Tilts/Dalbellos/SPKs...etc) that big. Does anyone know of a bootfitter in WA that could help me select a park boot my size. I'm thinking of driving to Evo in Seattle but would it be worth it right now? Maybe I should try calling Evo...I realize there isn't a good selection right now and I might have to wait until next season and pay full price.

Could you define a 'park' boot for me? I have no idea what makes a boot a 'park' boot.

Don't plan on buying boots until september. Usually some decent sales going on then and you are not fucked on selection and availability. If you could use a new pair of boots right now, and have disposable time you could stop by some shops, but don't have your mind made up on buying boots, because odds are they won't have the right boots for you.

Sounds like you and Mr. Rand got along. He is pretty fond of throwing someone in an intuition liner and hoping it works out, it looks like it did in your case. Consider yourself lucky.

That said, full shits are a waist of plastic for anyone that would like modern day performance out of a boot. I only bring them out if they are requested. They are made of the lowest quality materials in any ski boot. Most touring boots take a punch better.

i can safely say that I have never been in a boot that skis better then my seth's, but that is because they fit my perfectly

pro ski on aurora in seattle...100% guaranteed

im positive they will cram your foot into something smaller than a 30.5 too :)

Don't punch polyurethane, grind it. ;) I think that you'd agree: If a full tilt needs a punch, then they need a new boot choice because it obviously doesn't fit the foot shape. And I only grind for corns, odd bones, and long 2nd and 3rd metatarsals.

I find if I grind out most of the plastic on a full tilt it skis better, something about not being able to get any sloppier out of the box.
