Booters

Hey guys i have been watching a lot of dvds were all the pros are hitting these massive kickers going like 100 miles an hour(not literally) but flying, anyways i have built some nice big kickers with my friends and i have hit some semi big jumps in parks what they offer but nothing to massive. I want to be able to hit them and do my corks, big spins, all my tricks on them but i feel like spotting is going to fudge me up, like over rotating or under, ect. anybody have any tips? how did you guys work up to it so i can?

First time tricks are scary, you're gonna want to huck it for the first time on the smallest jump you think you can do your trick on, and then work up from there. If you can build a decent booter into powder that helps a ton, as it's almost impossible to seriously hurt yourself. Once you get the basic feel of a trick on snow, it gets easier on bigger jumps once you're comfortable on them. I learned corks and rodeos on a 45ish footer for my first time and I've had trouble doing them on anything smaller but for the most part small = good for learning

yeah Dix i spent a lot of the end of last season and post season making some big kicks with our crew in to some pow but when ever i feel like trying like a rodeo or something in the park feels like something going to get jacked up. but all thats good info and i will have to hit up some bigger parks and build some some massive booters in the back country. should be soon ill post some pics so you guys can see what im working with.
