Boot straps.

I have some full tilt booters and my top straps are garbage. The Velcro doesn't even work anymore. Do I really need them? Thanks

Yes you need straps. how do u think your foot will stay tight in the boot? either buy a strap of someone on Newschooelrs or buy a booster strap form their website

I don't see how it keeps it tight. It is Velcro and I still have all the metal straps... I don't feel like I even need that top strap

you need it. If you're not using it, you're not using your boots right and therefore not skiing properly. Boot straps help keep the tongue/front of boot tight against your shin so that you can flex the boot effectively.

I highly recommend getting booster straps, they help a lot with flexing and shin bang

you sir are correct. A good strap is very important for any experienced skier, and Booster straps will last you a long time (Been using the same medium strap for nearly 7 years now). Tightening the booster strap before you buckle down your boots will help avoid shin bang as well.
