Boot rubbing

So I have used boots that are a little small but im going to suck it up for the rest of the season and buy spks next year. So they were pretty painful when i first was skiing on them, but i broke them in a little more and there getting better. But i still have rubbing in the heels, theres a blister in the back. Its mainly when i butter but still is annoying. Also in my pinkie toes both kinda burn when i take them out. I think its so tight that theres no blood cirulation in my toes. Any suggestions?

You can have them expanded a little, shops do it for racers who like there boots 2 sizes too small. They use a dremel type tool and can grind out hot spots or pressure points. Ask a racer about it

becasue it gives you a better response to your skis or something. like if you had a big floppy boot its harder to turn and stuff but if your boots small you have more control or somethin like taht

If you are gonna ski them for the rest of the season, Look into getting custom footbeds made and you could also get some padding for the outside of your liner around where your Achilles is, this will help with heel hold

If the toebox is still causing you issues and you are sure it is because the width is too marrow for your forefoot then you could consider getting them blown..You could also try a heel-lift - it should bring your foot back in the boot and depending on the shape of your foot, take pressure off your pinkies..

Theres a few things you can do, but is sounds like you are in the wrong boot.

p.s Which boots are they?

Go to your local shop. Bring your boots, and have them look at your feet. The will probably be able to fix your problem with padding and stretching of liner and shell. Also look into superfeet, if you dont want to spend the money on a custom made foot bed. They make a HUGE difference.
