Boot recommendations for a big guy.

First I am 6'3, 230 lbs. My shoe size is 11.5 - 12 (depending on shoe manufacturer) been using a pair of 29.5 boots for a long time. I don't ski any where near as hard as I used to (26 now) but still like to hit the jumps, throw some basic spins and rip the rails, but mostly I do a lot of cruising around jibbing random shit around the ski area.

Since the first pair of Salomon SPK's came out I've been rocking those ever since, probably about 3 different models in total. I've liked the boot, but feel like there are probably better options out there now.

I'm curious about Full Tilt, and if any "bigger" guys really like them or not.

I will be going to a shop, and getting a proper fitting, just seeing if any of you all could toss me some ideas for a good boot for a big guy.

Try all options but I highly doubt any full tilt will be close to stiff enough for you. I skied the new descendant 8 and it's about a 110 flex so even there stiff boots are soft.

But the spk is also a soft boot so if your used to a softer boot you may find softer style work but I think you would enjoy a stiffer more surportive boot more.

Really just listen to what the fitter recomends and don't even consider not getting custom footbeds, they will really help with the fit for you.
