So you guys recommended a bootfitter and i got the right size boots but stupidly bought them in the beginning of the summer.. The Hotdoggers are brand new ! i thought that meh feet stopped growing but they didnt and there getting a lil small.

the bootfitter said to get

27.5 Boots which i did and i havent got them heat molded yet!

So my question is?

A. Will they fit better when i get them heat molded

B. Can i fit a

28 Liner

into

a

27.5 Boot

What sort of footbed did you buy?

Getting a good footbed will usally realign your foot often making it a size smaller if not more.

When you get the footbed made if you didnt already, get the liner molded. You could use toe caps when you mold the liner which can help. You could also have the toe box punched if you need.

27.0 is actually just about the average size ie the most common size. So chances are they will fit you fine once you have them fitted. Unless your a huge guy of course.

If your feet are growing and might keep growing I'd go the used boots route.

Sound like you know a decent boot fitter. Get your current proper boot size.

Then go to a ski swap or sale. Then try lots of boots til you get a boot with the right flex and a good fit. Take the new boot to fitter and get a new liner (if it's bad or packed) and Custom inserts. Have fitter tweak boots if need be. Then go ski when the snow flies.

I'd say the idea of using a larger liner will not work.

It's made for a bigger boot. If you put it in a smaller boot means there will be even less room compared to the proper size liner for that boot.

Best option: Get used or last years gear if you growing still. This Will save you lots of money.

i have the hotdoggers already and i solved the problem thanks guys!

I took off the bottom buckle it realeased some of the pressure on my toes and im going to get my liners molded tommow and imma use a toebox

+K to all

Mmm that bottom buckle shouldnt help you toes. To be honest your not in the right boot if that's the case unless your going for that race fit.

IMO that bottom buckle should apply a light pressure. Normally it's the other two buckles that hold the pressure. If that makes any sense, sounds like you foot is too big fir that toe box and they might just blow out the boot a little. Fuck mobile
