Boot Problem

So I have some SPK's that I started using halfway through this season. Went down south and this is where the fitters led me. Until a couple weeks ago these were amazing. No shin bang or any other type of pain. But then one day I was on my first run and there was just this shooting pain in my ankle. So I tried to bear through it that day and at the end of the day I looked at my ankle and there was this huge bump just below the ankle bone. It looked like there were two ankle bones sticking out. Now I went to the fitters at Kirk (guys are amazing) and he ground the boot a bit and it seemed to help that day. But now I still have this fat thing on my ankle and it hurts like hell when I put it in my boot.

any input, suggestions would be great.
