I have a pair of 09-10 spk chaos's and after i ski for a couple of hours my heel feels like it is swelling up and i get a really sharp pinch in my heel. What can i do to fix it.Please Help +K

I had this with my wakeboard bindings this year its no the boot its the tendons in your foot, the rehab instructions i received wear to take a golf ball and use it to massage the arch between heel and toes under you feet, it hurts at first but as the tendons stretch you will find the problem goes away. Hope this helps :-)

You may not need customs even. you might try going to a running shoe store and buying those plastic arch supports. I had bad pain in my arch and a little bit in my heel and that was a $20 fix rather than a $80+ fix.

yah its probably your arch or your achilles. you gotta stretch a lot. freeze a bottle of water and roll it on the bottom of your foot itll loosen your arch and heel. then stretch like normal calf stretches and that will help your achilles, or your can do the water bottle on your achilles, but that hurts like a mo. hope that helps.

Always make sure you have a good footbed in your boot. Your foot was designed to flex and walk, not be stuffed into a plastic cast. If your arches collapse, it pulls on the rest of your foot/leg as well and this could very well be the cause of your problem.

Also, try putting some everyday arch supports in your everyday footwear. You do the most help or hurt to your feet in your everyday shoes, whereas you are only in your ski boots for a few hours at a time.

A lot of problems with the bottom of the foot can come from your calf muscle being too tight. Make sure you stretch your calfs and try rolling something cold, like a beer can across the arch and heel. I have really high arches and I bruised my fascia a few years back because of it. You could also try going to a place like road runners and get some arch support.

if that doesnt work, you should tape that ankle. i had the same problem in lacrosse and after i taped my ankle and used ark support it went away
