Alright, so my boots suck. I wont even get into how they fit my toes and how they keep my heel down (hint, they dont). New ones are on the way, as soon as my paychecks accumulate.
However, after yesterday, second day on them this season, new thinner socks and clamping the shit out of my feet to try and get a better fit, I notice two things - no shinbang (YES!!)... but weird triangular shaped bruises on the inside of my calf, right at the base of that big muscle that gets sexy-looking from all the legwork we do. They arent purple, they're red, and sore as shit. I think these either are mega-bruises or weird rub spots.
So, dilemma - these hurt like shit, and new boots are a month away. I need a temporary solution. Anyone have any idea of what to do? Modifying the liner, bad or good idea, suggestions in doing so? Extra padding there, maybe even shaving whatever the fuck it is off the shell? I'm considering the resell on these boots nil because of the smell, so anything up to char-broiling them is acceptable in customization.
