Boot pain???

Today was my second day with my new boots and my 3rd day skiing...I did rather narly for 3 days....but my feet hurt on the lift...never when walking or skiing....i sometimes have to unbuckle the 2 bottem clips...Does this normally happen with new boots?its pain in the arch and above the foot....Its prob just because i need to work them in...but if anyone has suggestions that willhelp please tell me...There 06 rossi elite's...not sure the model number...but any help would be radd

i get arch pain cuz theres no support there so custom footbeds will be my next investment hopefully

That's always happened to me for the first 5-10 days of skiing after getting new boots, it's nothing to really worry about. Eventually your feet will get used to it or the boot will change shape slightly, but if you really want to solve the problem you'll have to lay down the cash for some custom footbeds.

I dont know if this will help, but always buckle up your boots the way that you wear them after you are done riding. I mean like when they are not in use like in your basement. This helps the boot keep the shape of your foot

You have flat feet...or an extremely high arch. my guess would be flat feet though. i get the same exact problem. Best advice would be get some Superfeet. Find some shop that will do that for you

what every one should do if your feet hurt get the dalbello rampages....your feet will never hurt..and feel like shoes but better

yeah same thing happened to me i have flat feet so i just threw in my orthodics(sp) from my kicks and now my feet r fine

my feet hurt when standing or walking, not when skiing. Wierd, it hurt on the outsides of my feet, i have flat feet

yet..

haha.

and i got new boots this year. too stiff and fuckes up my shinns. were sorta in teh same boat.

boots are important for comfort. bindings for safety, and skis for purpose.

get custom footbeds, and perhaps some boot work done. it costs a little bit, but a good boot technician can get a lot done and make a boot super comfy. you shouldnt have to ride in pain

ya i have last years salomn performa 7's and i have the exact same problem i have been using them for like a month and half now and i get that pain right in the top of my arch right over where the rivt that holds the metal binding piece on the boot down. i have custom footbeds have tried to make pads for this problem and the pain will not go away its fuckin terrible!

they are the Rossi elite exp 3....they where fitted...they dont hurt much...they did the first day but there not as bad...btut i have flat feet are there any soles i can get like do you guys know any companies?

Superfeet makes some quality insoles. Depending on which ones you get, they should only cost $30-40. Just find a ski shop that will make them for you.

boots take at least 3-4 full days of skiing to get worn in, more if you dont ski hard. i made the mistake of hitting a 30ftr all day with brand new boots that fit way more snug than my old one, bruised the hell out of my toe.

They will not really make your boots any tighter, maybe just a tad because there would be arches under your foot, but they take the old insoles out and replace them with the superfeet so it's not like you are adding much. It's worth it.

Ski them ten days then go to a good bootfitter. There is no point asking people online for advice. End of story.

i have superfeet in my boots, and im flat footed. Thought it would take the pain away, but out of nowhere after i skied the day b4, my feet were in A LOT of pain the next day I skiied. I have last years 1080 boots so I dunno what else to do to fix the problem.
