Boot jibbing

i was wondering if it was just me and my friends or if anyone else on NS does rails in their ski boots only from time to time for a change. i've done a fair amount of summer boot jamming at my friends houses. boots slide surprisingly well. what are your thoughts?

haha they have grind plates.... i work in the park , last year my boots were so worn down that i could hit the baby jumps and do the round rails/ easy boxes.... but its hella sketchyy with any speed and a rake in your hands

I've been known to make some boot turns before a pipe comp, but jibbing is for those young hip kids

i prefer skis. That sounds sick though. i like sliding across a giant sheet of ice. Thats so much fun

i have seen a pair of boots with mettal plates on the soles, and a concave piece of metal under the heel for grinding. looked crazy

what me and my best friend do is we set up some of his pvc rails in a field during the summer, run at it and trick around on it. fun for no snow, you can get mad tech

This just sparked a great memory from my past. Back in the day when I used to race, my friends and I would fuck around all the time. We basically had this one lift/ run to ourselves.

So we would throw our poles off the chair and click our skis off so we could boot ski down to them. Anyways, the days we were training for slalom we had our shin guards on and so we would boot ski halfway down the run and then the next half slide on our knees with our shin guards on, you'd haul ass and it was mad fun!

oh the things we did to get out of training gates....

hahaha i loved bootskiing down instead of goin in the course, soo much more fun.

i mastered boot skiing switch this season...but i got new boots which have crazy grip on the bottom so my boot skiing career is over.

Bootsliding rails is fun, the only problem is when you come off the end and your boots don't slide very well when you hit the snow.
