Boot help

I got a question for ya people.

I picked up a pair of salmoman 4.0's last year, they are low end but i was in a jam and not as into skiing as i am now. I do lots of park and tend to do just as much freeriding with some moguls once in a while. These boots are obviously garbage for this. What do you reccomend for this kind of riding that is available in 29.0, is warm, stiff yet comfortable and reasonably priced?

If it helps i have 171 1080's with look pivot10 bindings.

Thanks alot for your help guys.

yeah my friend has the 1080s and they are sick, also the Rossignol Soft boots are sick, so either one is good

The best thing to do is try every boot just to see how your feet fit with them.

I was planning on getting the Rossignol Free X Scratch, but I try them and they were really too small for my feet. Then I try the Salomon 1080 and they really feel great. I didn't like them at first because of the flashy green, but I finally realized that they were really the best boots for me. Good boots all cost the same, you choose which ones you prefer..

ok thanks guys, im gonna head down to the shop tonite. I just didnt want to go in without any knowledge of boots and get suckered into a set of racing boots or something. thanks again

i went into the shop and after trying a few pairs, i tried the Nordica w10's and theyre nice but a bit out of my price range.

Then i tried some Head FR 8.5's and they felt really nice and Im getting some good insoles for them. So they should be good for an all mountain boot. Thanks guys

I have Lange L10's and i love them. Havent really tried any 'soft boots' or stupid shit like that.

soft boots just remind me of the click in bindings on snowboards (k2 cllickers and swithes) a fad and not entirely that great performance wise

Gotta love the midwest
