Boot help ASAP

I currently have a pair of the green Salomon pro models. I bought and mounted a pair of FKS 120s on some chronic blends for this season. So A basin opens tomorrow so I decided to snap the boots into the ski and check out how they work and I notice there is a lot of play in the heal piece vertically. With more investigation and trying out another pair of boots in the skis I have deduced that the way the bindings are designed couple with the heal of my boot being worn is causing this problem.

So I guess the question is am I fucked and do I have to buy some new boots or, is there a way to recondition the heal of the boot so that there is a tight fit?

Please help

if you can get to a shop they can usually order you in a new pair of bottom sole things so you wont have to buy new boots but if your going tommorow the best thing would to maybe find something that you can cut to make it even and gorilla glue it on for tommorow

I have some other skis I can ride tomorrow but I am sad about this new development. How would the shop make a new bottom sole thing it looks like the whole boot is one solid mold.

sadly u probably need new boots. But if you have done alot of days in them its probably time for a change anyway. Next time you buy boots look for replaceable toe and heel pieces or buy some cat tracks which will prevent sole wear. If your sole is really worn out you could pop out unexpectadly wich needless to say could be pretty dangerous. Alot of shops won't touch boots that don't have a DIN height toe/heel.

Just bought some nordica ignitions seam pretty legit and fit like a glove. Giving a firm handshake. haha anybody else have these boots?

250 at ski and golf

yup i got a pair of supercharger ignitions - stoked with them.

had xwave 8's before these and the nordica liners are much better (i never really liked the xwave liner anyway)

in case you didnt know, they are a beast 10 btw, same boot

if you cant get a new boot sole you can try and grind them down the reason for thewobble is because your boots soles are curved in the back instead of flat

thats a pretty sick idea. I wonder if I could shave the fuck out of them and then screw in new heal pieces. Good plan they are pretty much worthless so I might try something like that. I am pretty stoked on these nordicas I have never rode them before putting them to the test tomorrow.

You can have them ground to level, but if they're really worn down(as they might be, being the old green 10s), that might just make things worse... in which case you're going to need new boots.

example : My foils only have a replaceable heel, while the technica agent 100 has both replaceable toe and heel
