hey i'm switchin from salomon to lange boots..... no i don't have a shop where i can go try them on..... i'm thinking i'll prolly be getting the freeride 110 or 130 boots, and right now i'm on salomons with a 95 flex, i know that every company's flex numbers mean different things... so i was just wondering if anyone knew off hand what a 95 salomon flex would compare to as a lange flex...110 or 130

anything helps

peace

Lange 120 are about the same as a Salomon 110, so there's not a whole lot of difference.

lange actaully widened they're freerid e and freestyle boots this year... but it doesn't even really matter, i don't have a choice, i have to ride langes this year.... so from what i'm hearing it sounds like the 110 would be a better call...???

haha well ya i guess thats right, but i like the idea of some free skis.... so i'll think i'll make langes work, if anything I can always trim down the liner a bit....

i was refering to how if on part of the boot was too snug for my foot, you can cut/trim a little bit of liner off there, and it will make for a roomyer and better fit

or you could just blow the shell?

even if you customise the shell, the boot needs to be a fairly good fit in the first place though

but yeah i know what you mean about shaving the liner down - i'd stay away from that though and concentrate on the shell

if you're in the gun boot, the lange freeride wont feel drastically different. flex wise i'd say its pretty similar to the freeride 110, except the langes have a much smoother flex so they feel easier to flex. and dont 'trim' your liner, blow out/dremel out the shell.
