Yeah I've had this happen, and I'd have to agree with previous statements. A bed will prevent (in retard terms) your ankle from falling inwards towards the other foot. When that happens, it's usually subtle and isn't enough to notice while standing around, but after skiing all day you'll definitely notice, but it'll feel as if it's just hitting te side of your boot because it's tight. Don't try to mess with the canting on your boot though. That seems like it will help but it'll only mess up your knees and your skiing
