hey i saw an add in Freeskier for booster straps, there sopposed to prevent shin bang or something. anybody ever see or use these before?

I hear they are awesome and I'm probably gonna order a pair today, It's supposedly a pain in the ass to install them though, you gotta drill through your old rivets and tbolt the new straps on. But they keep the tounge of your boot against your shins at all time and when you make a turn they strech and then return to original tightness.

We pay our debt sometimes.

they are supposted to kind of spring your shins back

I have a pair and you don't need to install them by using drills and such. You can just strap em' right around the inner liner of your boot. They soo much improve your skiing and yes it does prevent almost all shin-bang.

its not a pain in the ass at all to install. basically you get a strap which screws i think. so what you do is unscrew the old strap on your boots. then take a sautering iron and burn 2 holes through the booster strap the same width as the holes for your old strap were. then your just screw it in. it took me about 10 mins to install. it didnt really help me out wiht my shin bang, i still got it all the time, but oh well

and the people who already have them, do you just have the racing one or the like park ones?

They seperate them by beginner, intermediate and advance depending on this chart. I didn't bother with that, I just got the advance.

Oh and it takes a little bit to get used to and save your shins by not doing 180's to flat because that kills with those things on.

Hitting your shins hard against the front of the boot. There's no give with them on.
