Booster strap?

I just learned, they're a strap (like most boots have) that goes around the top of the boot. I'm not sure whether you need it in addition to the one that comes with the boots.

it's supposed to increase responsiveness of the boot for better control and drive plus it helps prevent shin bang

THey are awesome. It is best to remove your old strap from the boot and rivet in the booster strap. It is elastic. THey make two kinds. Intermediate and expert. Expert strap is a little stronger than the intermediate. I think it may be 3 ply rather than 2 ply. But anyways, they stretch and allow more movement in your boot or something. My horrible shinbang went away with the strap though. I didn't notice any difference in my turning responsiveness, but someone more advanced may notice.

you are one giant piece of internet suck -...focus....

its just a strap that tightens more. it didnt help my shin bang at all. shin bang comes from leaning back or landing in the backseat anyways

I have them and think they are great for a lot of reasons.

They make the boot more responsive by moving the flex initiation up your leg.

They helped but didn't eliminate my shinbang.

Those are two of the best reasons.

booster straps are sweet and do help alot with shng bang. but ive found that after about 150-200 days of skiing they loose there elastisity and need to be replace but there well worth the money even if they do need to be replaced once every year or two.

The booster strap was the second(first was custom insole) best thing i have bought for my boots. Freakin incredible.

Same as above. They solved all my shin problems. I couldn't ski three days straight in the park before I got them without my shins killing me. Now they're fine even after a week. GET THEM.

i use them, they work wonders against shin bang for me because my boots are to loose.

I ain't afraid of no ghost.
