Booster strap on il moro

this might be a dumb question, but i asked in the unthreadworthy thread and didn't get an answer...would you be able to use a booster strap on the il moro's? I have gone through two of the top buckles this year, and I was wondering if the booster strap would be able to help keep the boot tight to my leg...i dunno. + K for help

i actually was going to do the same thing. i talked with someone at a shop a week or so ago about it and he said the best bet might be basically copying what the krypton pro has and put a normal buckle like 2/3 of the way up and then the booster strap on top

oh nice! so would you just remove the top ratchet strap? and also, would you put the booster strap over the tongue shell thing or under? 10/10 for both of you thanks.

yeah you would remove that ratchet thing and then you could probably use those bolt holes to secure the booster strap. ive always had my booster over my tongue, but i guess whatever works best for you

How are you breaking them, if you don't mind me asking?

My friend has a pair, he skis like a machine, ex-racer big mountain, park shit out to 50ft and his have lasted 2 seasons without issues.

Having heard they break, I look forward to the day he explodes out the front of his boots on a heavy landing, haha...

I know I'm resurrecting an old ass thread, but I have broken mine twice now and the last time at the bear tooths I went out of commission for like 2 weeks... They can easily break on that top ratchet which turns into a death roll for your ankle.... Who fixed this with a booster strap and could you still keep the top ratchet without replacing it with a buckle
