Amplids are super durable. They take easily take a season of rails and still look good. Just check their site for more info. I don't know too much about BOONES, but i wouldn't ask one of their fanboys, chances are all you'll get is positive feedback. Even if its true, ask somebody who demod a pair or owned them for a season.

Ummm but for real, I'd go with a company other than Boone soley based on the fact that I don't like the dimensions on boone skis. Super biased I know.

amplids are soo sick looking but I know a kid who rode boones and did super destructive things with them and they are still fine, he was riding on the magic sticks at mt hood and I saw him fall on them on some urban rails n stuff and they still looked good.
