green street was good but i was unsure of elijah wood as the role. But thena fter watchin it he fit the part perfect.

It's not happening. Some of the cast members (i think the guys that played the brothers) and the writers all had a huge fight and none of them will speak to eachother and the movie was scrapped. Supposedly it's never going to happen
 
I just did minimal research and found out that they are actually still working on a script and it was just cleared for some early phases, so apparently my news was old news. It may just happen! I hope they dont completely ruin it though...
 
thats completely wrong.. Troy is not very liked by the production company(people with the money) and now because the movie rights are owned by Fox and another company wants to produce the second one.. So basically the cast is all for it but its tied up between lawyers as to who has the official rights to the second movie... Trust me this information is true seeing that it was an official interview from troy during the one night showing of boondocks in september.
 
Like i said in the very next post, this was old news and I updated myself, but thanks for reminding me...

I still dont think it's going to be made. Movies like this have a fucking hard time getting cleared. Fans can keep fighting, but sometimes it just never happens. Look at Serenity, those fans are rabit but it will probably never get a sequel. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Uhhh speaking as someone who considers Boondock Saints a cult classic and has watched it 20 times or more... Serenity was better, so shut your tasteless mouth. Just because it didn't have as many people getting the shit kicked out of them... fucking kids. No idea what a good movie is.

Boondock was somewhat cheesy, that was its big problem. In much the same way many cult films are. Its biggest virtue was Willem Dafoe. If he comes back then maybe... no, to be honest, sequels like this are never anything close to the original unfortunately. I'm skeptical.
 
Ron Jeremy did an interview last year on the radio and he said that it's going to happen. He's in it for a flashback sequence apparently.

And yes, Green Street Hooligans was fucking amazing. Made me want to start up a firm of my own! Haha
 
the last scene in green street is fucking awesome. song its pretty emo-y, but fits it perfect and i love it. also, elijah fits the role perfectly, its good that you think hes a homo at the beginning.

Yeah. at least Football Factory was about a good team though with Chelsea.
