'boondock saints 2 is happening' according to director

i think it'll be real easy for the sequel to be utter trash, i this guy has pretty high standards for a movie and they pull it off well

i heard that guy is so full of himself though, and so many people are jacked up for the sequel, that the combonation of the 2 could be like Queens Boulevard and Medellin, if you know what i'm saying

 
i do know what you're saying. didnt he blow all his money from the first movie and become such a dick about how awesome he was cause of boondock saints that no one gives a fuck about him anymore?

also, last i heard, defoe was not onboard for the project. say what you want about the other cast members, he was the most important character to that movie hands down. i know the brothers were badass, but dafoe had not only the best character in the movie, but the best lines, and he was easily the best actor. it might be difficult to achieve such a great blend of character, story, and action, without him this time around.

 
a 2nd one has been in production for a few years now. the director is like paying for it out of his pocket, paycheck to paycheck, thats why its taking so long.
 
personally I don't like the idea, some movies are made to be single movies and not have any others made. Yes, the end of the movie does open it to sequels but how the movie is done and the cult status it has obtained say it needs to remain the only one.

The second one will never be better then the first.
 
sooooo retarded. i hate when hollywood makes sequuals to great movie that werent intended for sequals in the first place. they just make cheep stupid sequals becuse they know people will go see it.
 
With Rocco dead and Dafoe out of the picture, I don't see how it could be all that good. I suppose they could do something with it, but I don't think it'll ever come out.

that would be trash. it's too late and the first one didn't set up for a sequel, it was just sick as it was. it will completely butcher the original movie as a lot of sequels do
 
wow, thats pretty huge that its finally happening. pretty hard to imagine a sequal living up to the original without dafoe, rocco, or ron fuckin jeremy. but i reserve my judgement until ive seen it
 
honestly i don't think it looks that good. They put some random plot twist and get some skank to play detective and they think it can replace the legend of william dafoe....i feel like the first movie will def now be hard to top.
