Books

how about not by subject, but my favorites are Catch-22, Grapes of Wrath, A Clockwork Orange, and some others that i can't think of.

uh, as of recent(and assuming you mean real books, not ski magazines):

-science fiction (philip k. dick pretty much exclusively)

-some stuff on buddhism and eastern philosophy and junk... i don't think I really agree with it though...

-poetry collections

-stuff on globalization and corporate america sucking and stuff like that

robin cook in incredible, i'm on my 5th book of his in less than a year. he's a neurologist as well, so he writes medical thrillers, which are great for people who like suspense and are also interested in going into a medical profession, like myself. i'd recommend "Mortal Fear", "Coma", and "Mutation", but all of them are excellent.

^ dude i dont know why but i cant fucking stand your signiture. It pisses me off more than timmi's. Im not sure if its tounge in cheek or whatever but when i read "I am the sex" i fucking cringe in agony.

But anyways, On The Road by jack kerouac is classic, and bringing donw the house, the story about the MIT students who robbed vegas is a real fast read.

I used to read alot but lately I've slowed down, I'm a huge fantasy person and I enjoy Terry Goodkind alot.

i have read a lot of the sword of truth series and i have to say compared to other writers he is not very good. try the wheel of time, malazan book of the fallen, song of fire and ice is really good to. you should love the wheel of time but malazan book of the fallen might be a little hard, you should like song of fire and ice also. try these out... if you like goodkind then you will really like these. in ski terms it is like comparing old k2 enemies with new pubs.

good choices in there, i like catch 22, lord of the flies, clockwork orange, the whole ender's game series, and of course Harry Potter

Catch-22 is really funny. I'm reading The Color Purple right now and I'm not going to lie, I love black literature. Beloved is also fucking great (any Toni Morrison book really) and Langston Hughes also. The Monkeywrench Gang= wow.

Da vinci Code, angels and demons, desert solitare, monkey wrench gang, harry potter series(not ashamed to admit it)

whats a good book that has a good theme that u can talk about forever.. titles.. and what its about please

Walden and every epic poem. i'm reading a prtrait of the artist as a young man right now, and it't actualy starting to anoy me. fucking stream of conciousness writing.

Deception Point is sweet. it is by the same guy who wrote Davinci Code. Choke by Chuck Palanhuk is messed up. 1984 was a good book in school
