"Party in The Park" is ON! Thanks to the return of an incoming cold system this week along with the remaining snow in our main terrain park at Brandywine, we will host a couple of "bonus" sessions this weekend in "The Park". These "park-only" sessions will be held on Saturday (March 26) and Sunday (March 27) from 10am-6pm at Brandywine Resort. These sessions include lift service, music, a limited selection of food and beverage, a potential impromptu jam/event and most importantly GOOD TIMES. The general public can purchase a snowpass for $25 per day and all 2010/11 season passes will be valid following your respective pass guidelines. In addition to the Party in the Park we will be featuring a "Tricks & Tips" mini-camp Saturday and Sunday mornings. The Tricks & Tips camp will be a three hour session on the hill instructed by BMBW's finest Freestyle Team and freestyle instructors focusing on what YOU want to learn. Whether you are looking to figure how to spin that 540 you've been dreaming of, or learning your first grind on the box, the Tricks & Tips mini-camp is for you! The Tricks & Tips Camp will be $25 each day for the 11am-2pm session, helmet and release are required to participate. Registration the day of from 10am-11am inside the information office.Just to reiterate and make sure we are all on the same page, the only terrain available will be in "The Park" as all other slopes at Brandywine (and Boston Mills) are closed for the season. Lifts 1 & 2 will be ready to roll, and you can expect a full top to bottom terrain park with many features/elements for all to enjoy. We still have a fair amount of snow in The Park.....our cat operators, park crew and mountain ops are beginning the processes to bring it all back together for a weekend of serious SNOW FUN. We'll get you some photos of our efforts here soon, but I believe most all park riders will be pretty stoked with what we have on-tap in "The Park" this coming weekend. Also an important note about our rental shop, during these select "Bonus Days" we will not have any rental equiptment available. Party in the Park is all about thanking the many "freestylers" for making it such a great 2010/2011 season. Our goal is to simply give all you all we got in "The Park" for what should be an awesome and fun-filled weekend. So, spead the word and we'll see you in The Park this weekend!
