This was my first and probably only roo.

Way to expensive. Some good band but not a really headi fest.

I will be at rothbury for sure, headie headie fest.

Summercamp, bisco, moe.down and some others. maybe mt jam
 
Yeah. I'm definitely gonna try to get an early ticket if I can afford it. I mean, no matter what the headliners are, there are going to be sick smaller bands. And its going to be an insane time no matter what pretty much.
 
Why get an early ticket though. I would wait to see the lineup.

Check out rothbury next year if you want a real fest. Check out the sherwood forest pics
 
Thats why i went this year. Mostly for phish. NIN was sick. moe.

Def some great acts, and a good time. Dun to see some random bands that you wouldnt see at a normal fest.

The people aren't nearly as chill though.

That's why I go to moe.down every year. You could just sit down in a random easy up, get fed, some beers, meet new people. Everyone is super chill.

I'm not saying bonnaroo didn't have some cool people, but it isn't the same.

If the lineup is ridiculous i might consider going again, but hiking the prices another 50 bucks is ridiculous.

 
roo 09 was epic. when does the set list come out for 10? i just feel like rothbury cant be anything in comparison to the days of craziness bonnarroo was.

Your dead wrong on rothbury. I didnt even here about it till after first year.

But it's so much more chill than roo. And the lineup delivers every year.

check out mountain for a real fest. but ive also wanted to go, im sure it will be worth the drive, thats half the fun anyway
 
Bonnaroo 09 was pretty sick, it was way to much work, we flew from MT, lost our bags, did not get out of the nashville airport when we were supposed to. Despite all the shit we went through and how late we got there the first day we still got a rockin camp site, we were right at the arch enterance which was so sweet, i can not even imagin what a pain in the ass it would have been to get to the venue from the furthest camp sites. Had an awesome time though, would most definitely do it again if i have the chance. Phish layed down 2 sets, that really made it all worth it.

Definitely hitting up Rothbury and Bisco 2010 though. I am so pissed i missed Bisco 09, anyone go?
 
Bisco was a good time. If your hitting up ny fest def check out moe.down, probably some of the friendliest people you can find at a fest.

Good thing about bisco is they really cracked down on the nitrous problem. WOn't find nitrous alley anywhere.

vibes and moe.down down got hit hard the last 2 years. Vibes was really bad. I heard all good was too. They cracked down on it a lot harder at moe.down this here, but it still raged pretty hard first night.

I got right up front for phish sunday night. People were settiing off mortars next to me, shit was crazy.

Can't wait for snow.down in vt this winter/spring

 
^ Oh, your talking about Camp Bisco, I was talking about Bisco Inferno at Red Rocks in CO. Although Camp Bisco had a pretty sweet line up last year, i am not sure i will make it that far for a fest.

The line up for Bisco Inferno 09 was: The Disco Biscuits(2 sets), Paul Oakenfold, Lotus, DJ Z-Trip, RJD2, The New Deal and Orchard Lounge. It is not really a festival, it is just one long day of SOLID music at Red Rocks, i heard it was a blast.
 
Too places i havent hit that i need to. RR and the gorge.

Lotus and new deal with bisco had to be epic. I remember hearing about it, i think i saw the show review on jambase

I have never been to RR but i have seen countless shows at the gorge, saw phish there in the summer, they threw down! Jealous you're seeing phish this week. have fun man.
 
Bonnaroo was cool before MTV bought it or whatever and every kid and their mom knew about it because it was all over the papers.

I went 2 years,I forgot the years, but the second year was like a 360 from the first year, and I think Bonnaroo is now only for people who come with Coach purses and Chanel sunglasses.

In other words, the news is out, find a new place to party if you want to go to the REAL party.

If you want to get busted with a tank of nitrous outside the gates of a festival, go to Bonnaroo.

I am all butthurt because I spent a chunk of change to go to Bonnaroo in like 05 or 06 and it was not even close to worth the money. So take what I say with a grain of salt.

 
i feel like this thread is way to early...^ and to you above, i would LOVE to make to Shambala, more than anything in the world.
 
I haven't heard of that one. I want to make symbiosis gathering in Vallecito calki next year.

Missing a phish show with pretty lights for an after party cause im too broke lol.

Its still going to be a sick week of shows.

Anybody see the Jam cruise in Jan? Or the Caribean Holidaze?

I really want to hit the cruise. It's like 1k a person but some sick bands. Louts, sts9, pretty lights, toubab krewem and lots of others.

Holidaze is pretty awesome(all inclusive food and drink too) but its not a cruise, just a ballin resort in jamaica
