Bomb threats and school

ok, so my school had a bomb threat recently and we are going to have a "regular school day" but with no classes and it will be held at our local elementary schools gyms(we split up by class). What is the point of this and why not just add another day in june. Basically what im saying is that bomb-threats are really really dumb. anyone else had this happen?

P.S i will not be attending "school" tomorrow
 
Schools get paid per day that the have "school" so there is your reason for sitting in the elementary school gym all day, To keep your broke ass school from going broker.

Back in middle school we had at least 6 bomb threats a year, needless to say our school sucked. We often had to evacuate no matter the weather,stand in fire-drill lines, And listen to other kids bitch, because every single 'threat' never followed through.
 
Had a bomb threat once at my school when i was in 10th grade... we all got evacuated to "safe houses" near by and had to stay there until our parents came and checked us out. They started making kids go back and i luckily checked out just in time and didnt have to go back to school and it was like 11am.
 
Like I said, we all hated that school, and also going outside when we knew it wasn't going to happen because it never did.
 
we got 2 the past 3 days its pretty fucked up, just swastikas with bomb written around them. just a bunch of beanors that dont wanna take tests and our principal quit cause he was sick of the shit.
 
we had 6 or 7 i think. All duds of course.

Used to happen when some weirdo goth kid (do those exist anymore) didn't want to take a test or something.
 
we had one during 8th grade. i didnt have to go to school. I dont think we had to make it up either...
 
a long ass time ago some kid went crazy and was planning to shoot everybody up. he had lists and lists of names, but at the end there was a "no kill" list that was only a page long. I was on that one. :). /truestory
 
One day in January last year we were expected to get 18 inches of snow in one night so they cancelled school for Thursday and we had Friday off. Then on Wednesday morning we were forced to leave because someone had made a bomb threat. So we got a 5 day weekend. Pretty sick for me, but the kid went to juvie.
 
we got a couple days off a couple years ago because of bomb threats in the area. it was a blank threat made to 'schools of the area'
 
lol someone wrote that there was a bomb in the urinal on a sticky note above one and we got out an hour into our school day 2 years ago.
 
If your school doesn't have bomb threats, it ain't cool.

Grade 8 I had a bomb threat at my school. Fuck me and my morals deciding to check out was going on an hour later. Got free pizza from a peer tutor (a student that helps out in the class) so in the end it was worth it.
 
when i was in fifth grade there was a pipe bomb in our school we had to go to a diffrent school that day and school was canceled the next day

 
My friend go accused of making a bomb threat because he was standing at this one spot in the hallway and later that day a note that said "boom" was in the same spot.
 
Bomb threats are fuckin stupid. If someone is so low they have to pretend they are going to do something. Fuck them get a life.
 
i get breaking news texts from a connecticut news station and i get at least like one a month from schools in bridgeport, torrington, and the windsor locks area.
