Bolton 11/12

Top section is pushed out, first few rails/boxes will go in today......Jumps should get pushed today, and tested asap.....

Tomorrow bottom section of rails, and re-working two smaller jumps.....

Friday, final touches/testing......maybe open for friday night.

Is the speed better for the jumps better without the new snow now? Butterscotch is mad fun overall though, thanks for getting it open Friday night.

Yes, speed is much better overall without 3 inches of cement and with a nice groom......the difference from friday to saturday was night and day. I know speed for our large jump can be an issue, if it continues to be, we will push the knuckle in a few feet.

Also, we are adding feature or two this morning to the bottom jib section.

Any other critics out there......I want feedback, it's my first full park design and would love to know how to improve it and what I did wrong.

First of all, I love the park. From what I've experienced so far is that you have to pick and choose between the a-frame box and the flat-down rail. I know a lot of people couldn't get enough speed for the flat-down after hitting the a-frame. Maybe move the a-frame? Just a suggestion.

My only thought was that I felt like that bottom bonk/jib thing was a little close to that telephone pole. Not sure if there is a reason for that or not but other than that I thought the park was great.

i think itd be good if both the a-frame and flat down were moved further down and lined up. that way you can hit both and the 2nd jumps landing wont get scraped from everyone cutting over to the a-frame.

Thanks guys......the a-frame is up there because of a snow issue, but we added the donkey tube below it (next to disaster), so the left hand line is a bit more full. And the stall tube is moved into the center of the trail with a proper lip on and a 'quarter pipe' on either side.

We are looking to add something below the two smaller jumps, details to follow after this weeks weather roller-coaster.

Did Bolton under report the snowfall? Stowe 9-12 in 24hr and Smuggs 10" but BV only reports 6"? huh? That doesnt add up. Especially with the storm favoring western slopes.w

yup, course will be decided on tomorrow afternoon......prolly same as last week. Two jibby/slidey things and two jumps.

i'm not 100% if i'm going but i could bring up a pair of 178 invaders with some plastic bindings i found in my basement mounted on them for you. what's your bsl?

I have 27.5 Rampage's, which I think are 316mm. My lizzies might possibly be mounted in time but if they aren't, that would be awesome if I could borrow those.

they were mounted for my old boots which were 327mm. they can easily be adjusted though. again, i'm not 100% sure if i'm going but i'll let you know

We can find you some sticks homie....I got an old pair of beat to shit pivot 12's that are on their last legs, but would be more than willing to give em to you and mount them for you if you have someone to give you some old sticks. Can do today anytime.

Night riders finals tomorrow! It will be a full park slope style event, we got lots of sick prizes for winners and tons of legit toss outs for everybody else!

even though the weather is not being so friendly to keep snow around we still have a lot of fun stuff set up and JJ re built and new down tube is a lot of fun. We still have the bigger jumps open too. There is still sooo much snow in the park its pretty amazing. Even though its getting soft come shred and have fun! still open until 8! shits gets wild when the lights come on, look out for the beasts in the woods. the vista monster is around. p.s. so much snow for after season build

could we come up and hit something such as pvc pipe rails up on the ENORMOUS pile of snow you have in the park? bolton supersession with grilling a plenty or is that frownded upon?
