Boho or powmow

hey, wondering what would be the better option. Boho in Michigan is going to be wayyyy cheaper but powder mountain seems like an amazing place to ski. I’m a little worried about snow being like it was last year in Michigan and I feel like it will be more reliable in utah. From Wisconsin so Michigan would also be cheaper to travel to. Thoughts?

Boho all day. You wont regret it. Unless you ski park.
 
Former Wisconsinite turned Utahn (had to gain residency for school). Boho is gonna be really dope, could get a season pass for $100 (that deal may be over now) and saturdays are pass holders only. Boho is core as fuck too. (no snowmaking, no grooming, yurts only, steep runs) Plus, you could rent out a yurt at the bottom with some homies and have a hell of a time for a lot less money. The skiing at Boho is sick, and if Superior doesnt freeze over, it snows a hell of a lot. Its steep and natural, and im pretty sure they have night skiing some days?(not sure might wanna double check)

PowMow is really sick too. its in Eden area so youd need to travel about an hour north of slc airport. it has no lodging on mountain, but some nearby. The skiing is sweet. more likely to hit on a pow day, and id rec going on the week days if you can. . 1 HSQ and slow lifts the rest of the way so runs are tracked less. the area is huge! lots of places to explore. From the looks, they have awesome cat skiing too ($20 a ride?). Both are really fun places to ride, but not necessarily in the same ballpark for price.

Not even close. Boho is crowded and blown out. A bunch of drunk people who drove up from Chicago or the Twin Cities, create long lines, and ruin any semblance of real vibe. Plus the snow has been terrible the last few years.

Utah terrain is way better too, obviously.

I've only spent one weekend up there so my experience is limited but this sums it up. Very cool for the Midwest though.
 
I went to Pow Mow last season kinda late in the year but it was really cheap skiing, and a few buddies + a backpack of beer and wicked-awesome corn skiing from bell to bell is hard to beat honestly. Would love to catch that place on a powday because the terrain does look like a decent time. Cool place though.

dude wtf I was trying to con this kid into going to The Keweenaw and u ruined it. Now there is going to be just one more wisco Jerry clogging up Ogden.

What’s wrong with Tyrol? Can’t handle the terrain?

Nobody should come to the Keweenaw, ever, for any reason. Stay away. Plus one more Wisco kid it the least of Utah's problems.
