Hahahaha. Classic NS bandwagon thread... the funniest thing here is that I never actually said anything bad about the EC, or even mentioned the West Coast once. Ski8990 called it, you kids just had to turn this into a west vs. east thing. My only serious comment in this was that if you buy the movie, you're getting EC park. Wicked without the editing. I still say that's pretty accurate. I then said, if that's what you're after, go for it. As for the Dadalis, I don't actually have anything against them really... the mentally handicapped thing was a jab at how they act on here. Of course, they're not half the clowns some of our other genius members are, as indicated by that dub vile thread, so I really don't care all that much... but I digress.

This episode was actually pretty predictable... you people need to find someone in every thread to be the bad guy, and then 50 people can say "GAY GAY GAY, I'd fight you if I found you, threats over the internet make me look tough and cool, you suck you gay queer" (Jon Ellerman is more or less the biggest walking joke on this site right now... thanks, man, I laughed). I don't know why it is, but every little comment is blown up until it's a circus just because a few idiots want to put a bit of internet-drama-related entertainment into their otherwise meaningless lives, find a nice scapegoat for it, and have at it while the rest of you are too oblivious to bother checking if you're just following a bunch of random bullshit... Well, in this case, I get to play scapegoat. Cool. Enjoy... you're arguing against no one, because I never said half of the stuff you're attributing to me.

For the record, I've got nothing against east coast skiers. I'm glad I live out west, but that sure as hell doesn't make me a better skier than anybody. Even if it did, being a better skier doesn't mean you're a better person, so I still wouldn't have cause to look down on anybody here. Fact is, if I do look down on anyone, it's got nothing to do with where they live or how they ski, so that whole argument is pretty much a waste of time... which, as a matter of fact, Ahmet agreed with when I told him I wasn't going to start an argument in this thread.

Nice shit! Those widescreen shots like the one with the sw up on the cement ledge...MONEY.

What really bothered me though, was the editing, it wasn't too good, but yeah , it's a trailer and you had so much sick tricks in there.. major props.

By the way, why did the quality change so much? Some of those shots were really crappy in quality compared to those HD shots.

the quality changed because there are many different kids filming for them,so there are all sorts of diff cameras. like sony highdef, the vx2100 to hi8 digi's.

your first qoute in this thread was "the west has spoken" in refrence to trevor. so saying you never bashed the east is technically true, but come one man... you sound like bush with his avoiding the truth. next is the one i qouted you on. dont say you never bashed the trailer... you said it had no editing, the skiers were "incedently retarded" and worse skiing then wicked, while once again not saying its bad, it comes across like it sucks. thirdly, you started this drama by being a bitch about a sick trailer. you dont want east vs west, dont say "the west has spoken" like youre all badass.

I'm not wrong, because I quite simply did not say or even mean to SUGGEST half of what's been attributed to me in this thread. If I HAD said any of it, yeah, I would've been wrong. But I didn't. There was no "east coast skiers suck", no "the east coast itself sucks", not even "this movie sucks", just exactly what I said: you buy movie, you get EC park. I thought I covered all this in my post up at the top of this page, but maybe it was too long for anyone to read.

Well, if it helps you to cope in any way, you might be interested to know that I'm just typing here. It's not like I've got a thesaurus next to my monitor. Everything I post on here is just me talking. Meanwhile, as far as I'm concerned you can have an opinion on a ski movie whether you could reproduce it or not... hell, I won't be getting any film trips out of MSP soon, but I still think Yearbook sucked.

And it's not nice to the Dadalis for me to have to keep repeating this opinion over and over when I specifically told Ahmet I'd said my piece, but if you want to drag it out... I said what I said because I think this movie is going to be like wicked, and I don't think it'll be as good owing to lack of Neil and skiers (not that Ahmet and Giray etc suck, I just think wicked had a pretty good lineup of skiers for the most part and that Bogart can't live up to it). Is that ok? Can I have an opinion, please?

Do east coast kids honestly think that they are "trapped in the east coast" and the west coast is really that much better if you want to be exposed as a park skier? It really isnt, our parks are way worse in general. I ski blackcomb all the time and its overpriced and way overrated - tons of east coast parks are on par with it if not better (not to mention blackcomb is one of the only resorts with a decent park on the west coast). Exposure is also way better on the east coast, more park skiers, bigger market, more reps, more comps. Yeah, this is kind of in the wrong thread but I think there were a few comments about doing the best with what you have.

The reason it'll be like wicked is it's going to be all urban and park, like wicked was? I thought that would be obvious. Just as I said before, if urban and park is what you want of of a movie, then buy it (or wicked)... And I love the inevitable "there's no point in arguing" response once you figure out that you're been arguing with your own imagination for the past three pages. I'm fine with that... I was ready to drop the whole issue after the first page.

I'm feeling a bit better about my worst threads now too.

It was cool that there was no gangster bs in the trailer, just a focus on skiing. sick flat 5 in the pipe, sick rails, the concrete one and the last one. That one guy took such a thorough nutting too! All in all, it was entertaining.

JD, you did kind of pounce these guys, but then again it was your opinion and that's what these threads consist of.
