today we were doing this at school and mine came out to be 4.5% im like 145.. the guy there said anything under 5% was unhealthy

18 yo

6'

155lbs

8.9% b.f.

14lbs of fat

The unhealthy amount, for a man, is lower than 3% and higher than 27%.

For a woman, the range is 12% to 30%.

I know this because Im taking general fitness in college.

the rock isnt 2% bf. ifbb pros diet down to around 3 or 4%. i believe the rock is around 7% after leaning out from 14%

theres no fucken way he was at 2% bf. do you have any idea how unhealthy that is so to stay at 2% for a long time is just asking to end up in the hospital.

"Error"

we just used a machine where you punched in your age, height, gender and weight then you held onto it while it sent electronic pulses through your body. Apparently muscle hinders electricity slightly so the machine can make a rough estimate on body fat. Its a neat little machine but very expensive.

yea, I had one of those electic pulse things in my wellness class. Some guy came in and talked to us about it.

IM 6'1", 170lbs, 14% body fat. I guess my % to weight ratio is too low. But i was like, thats alot. I thought.

According to that calculator, I'm 1.2%. That's Crazy but I've been sick all week and I need to put another 10lbs on.

It is impossible to determine body fat % purely from calculations. You have to do some sort of physical test. The lowest I've ever been has been 6.5%, I'm probably around 9% now. And I feel like a fatass.
