Bode's skis get pre-tuned at the factory, site-tuned in the trailer at the event or practice site, and race-tuned on the snow just before race. In fact he will bring 5 pair of identically site-tuned skis to the race, and have them tuned slightly differently to account for changing conditions.

Speaking of slightly different, yes, racers are different from the rest of us. They're not worse or better (well some are worse) but different. They bring attention and money to the sport that we love. that's generally good.

The real question isn't 'why Atomic,' it's why did he leave the other guys. Was it the attraction of Atomic or revulsion of something else.

 
Yeah the biggest problem with all this shit is Rossi burned the whole line of Bode's pro model. I mean even if they were shit they could have still salvaged something out of them instead of destroying the whole batch.

 
Ya i heard that too, nationals were up in AK this year and i heard the atomic tech talking to darron about bode going to atomic. Bode is a dick though, he missed his start in GS cause he was to hung over, and then when my friend asked for an autograph he's like ' no i don't like kids'

I only get autographs when there giving them out other then that i just treat them like normal people.
