I heard that bode miller has admitted racing drunk. He thinks its cool. What an idiot!

What does every one think?
 
I found it on the internet on yahoo. just type his name and search! you will find it1 Thats why racers are dangerous!
 
racers arent dangerous because BODE MILLER has drank before a race. its one person not the whole entire sport
 
haha that and the fact that about half of the pro freestyle skiers drink or smoke b4 they do anything... and loads of freeriders are on speed and e and shit
 
NEW YORK - Bode Miller knows he puts his life at risk when he skis drunk, but the outspoken Olympic favorite admits he may try the dangerous activity again.

“Talk about a hard challenge right there. ... If you ever tried to ski when you’re wasted, it’s not easy,” Miller told “60 Minutes” for a segment that will air Sunday. “Try and ski a slalom when ... you hit a gate less than every one second, so it’s risky. You’re putting your life at risk. ... It’s like driving drunk, only there are no rules about it in ski racing.”

Asked if the risk meant he would never ski drunk again, Miller replied “No, I’m not saying that.”

well its kind of sad that some guy who is such a shit hot killer skier, has to reduce it to that. and also to mention it on a TV interview. why? normal discretion you would have kept a lid on it, surely he is not dumb enough to think that makes him "radical" or something???????
 
he doesnt think its cool, he was out drinking all night after he won the world cup and had a race the next day and was still a little drunk, he commented on how dangerous it was
 
Bode Miller, Fucking Rules. Stop being bitches and realize that it's an individual sport not a team sport. And don't tell me that he could crash and hurt a spectator because spectators shouldn't be where there going to get hit. Stay the fuck out of his way sober or drunk. His coaches and the entire racing scene can suck his balls. HE doesn't give a fuck and neither does his #1 sponsor Nike. Nike liked the 60 minutes interview (qouated in ESPN.com). Racing needs more Bode Miller's and less up tight assholes.
 
honest and outspoken people like bode miller really earn my respect. he's an amazing skier, and he does it all his own way. who cares if he skis drunk? he is not putting anyone at risk besides himself. the rebel attitude he displayed during his 60 minutes interview gained alot of viewers for the olympic skiing events. even if it is racing, the more people that watch skiing, the better.
 
yeah you know how they blow things way out of proportion on television. they didn't even spend very much time of the interview on the subject, so it must have been a one time thing. and he said it was unintentional, he was still drunk from the night before. it's not like he went to the bar with his buddies an hour before the race and was pounding shots.
 
it says he does it before he skis, not actually racing. no good racer trying to win would drink before a start. plus bode sayd he did it once during trianing and that like on a closed course where no twin tippers go.
 
dude... know your facts before you say shit. He stayed up late partying. it;s not like he just went out, got wasted, then skied. He was stoked on a win, partied, then woke up and did his thing again. i respect him.

He doesnt drink before going to a race. He drinks the night before, and then wakes up still kinda drunk. Im sure that all of you are guilty of this as well. And racers arent dangerous at all!

Ripping the bumps drunk is so fun haha. I usually just start cracking up laughing halfway down the run cause my body feels so loose i just get bounced around every which way.
 
I'm I the only one who hates racers?? They think they're tough shit and go into the park and jump off the sides of the jumps onto rails and makes them pizza shaped. They do one-footed grinds on race skis. screw them
 
You know whats great about this...

Its more publicity for skiing, all of you guys are falling for it and its great. Wether or not bode has actually skied drunk, or totally hung over is a mute point.

This is like the WWF. He's creating a story for the media to decend on and hype it up... all it does is draw more attention to the sport, as you can clearly see.
