So my mom just told me that Bode miller is comming to Bristol on April 1st...

i'm not sure if im excited about this, i guess it's kinda cool, last year or the year before Tommy Moe came down and signed some stuff. I wish some damn freeriders would come down and ski other than Tim Russell... which was still pretty sweet.
 
Thats cool, im an hour away from Hunter, but have never gone there, its cool to think he would bother to come to this area.
 
bode the man...he didnt win ne medals cuz he even said he wasnt at the olympics for the right reasons...he jus wants to have fun let em be
 
You should tell Bode congradulations on being an embarrassment. Tell him that you're glad he chose to drink rather than take the olympics seriously. Tell him there are tons of people out there with a work ethic a thousand times better than his and that you're glad he wasted so much god given talent. Also tell him that Kyle from california says he's a fucker.

Thank you for your input, however in making choices regarding my career is MY decision, and I really could give a fuck less about what you think of me. If you want gold so bad, train your ass off and be better than me. Untill then, worry about yourself.

I see your point but i think it's a little more than just proving who's the best skiier or hocky player or sledder. You're representing your country. Think back to the last summer olympics when our basketball team got their ass handed to them. Didn't you feel a little ashamed? I know I did. I'm just saying have a little pride in what you're at the olympics to do and don't party every night so you can't ski. Spend a little more time than 10 minutes inspecting the course so you know what it's all aobut and don't go play basketball and sprain your ankle right before a race.
 
Right I forgot all about Bodes 'i don't care about what anyone thinks' attitude. 'i don't care about the media, the medals or the comps'. Sure you don't. If that was the case why are you just as much of a media whore as any other pro athlete. Why are you doing news shows and swooping up as many sponsors and you can? If you really didn't care you wouldn't be plastering your face all over the tv, print and internet. Good luck with 'not caring about what other people think' you hypocrite.
 
Bode Miller is a joke. I met him a ski shop opening and he said absolutely nothing to the people whos shirts and pictures he was signing. He just sat there and wouldnt like at us. Sure hes good, but is that all that matters? Same thing with Thall, hes got mad skills but hes a retard. You need both to deserve the right to get all that attention.
 
I find this quite commical how people are hating on Bode. Honestly, I think he's the best thing to happen to ski racing in a long time, he's brought a completely new attitude to the sport that more racers should have. I would much rather ski with Bode than any other racer out there, and I'm pretty sure we can all agree that the racing community as a whole is made up of a bunch of tools. So thank you Bode for not being a douce racer like the majority of them are, keep doin' your thing and have fun with it.

i could beleive that.mike wilson is his firstborn though....couble cork 1080 guineau pigging one of the worlds largest natural gaps....i still cant get over that..shit son.
 
have you seen video's of him training? He trains hours and hours every day, he just likes to have a good time

Yeah i've seen that video. I've also seen a video of superman flying, a dog riding a skate board, a fat guy singing in front of his computer, and professional wrestling. Not everything you see on TV is accurate.

First off even if Bode does have great workouts he DIDNT come to the olympics in that great of shape. They did a side by side comparison of him this year and I believe two years ago. He looks way heavier and its not muscle. Everytime he finished his run I thought he was going to fall down and pass out, I know its tough but no one else looked like they were even close to what Bode was feeling.

I also wonder what Nike would say if you asked them how they felt about Bodes performance...."Well we are just glad he had fun and got to party at an Olympic level."
 
You guys should stop listening to NBC bullshit. Ya, he didn't get a medal at the Olympics. There are so many variables in ski racing that consistently winning or being like "I'm gonna go win this race I guarantee it" is pretty much impossible. In the downhill Bode got fifth place, but he was one tenth of a second from getting a medal. One tenth of a second in downhill is about equivalent to 2 feet. He had an awesome run he just got out skied fair and square. I'm not saying Bode is the coolest or smartest guy skiing world cup, but give him a fucking break. The media blows everything way out of proportion. If you heard he was out getting drunk, it probably meant he was drinking one or two beers. If you didn't notice, controversy is what makes the olympics popular in the US. It seems to me like nobody cares about the accomplishments that the US had like a gold in the men's combined by Ted Ligety or gold in women's GS by Julia Mancuso. Sorry about the length of this but all of you uninformed bitches were pissing me off.
