Bobby's triple.

i really really really really like this. Not what i pictured at all when i first heard about his triple. Super high mute held the entire way. Kids say he has no style, but that's only because the tail of his hoodie doesn't drag on the ground.

Sparknotes:

very impressed

i thought it was gonna look lie a ragdoll getting hit by a lawn mower. looked like a thug ass ragdoll sept minus the regdoll and plus a grab.

cork 5 + sw cork 5 - 0.5(cork 3) + 2(flat 3.5) + (- sw cork 5) + 0.25(dub cork 10) = TRIPLE CORK 14 thats it.

Bobby is indeed filming with PBP, as well as MSP. Congrats to Bobby, putting style to his spins!! PBP and their riders are killin it this year I have a feeling

Caus a dub 14 is a switch landing right? Learn math then add it up and u will see that cork7+flat5+cork3= triple 16

You should leave, not only was that something never been done before, but it was pretty damn clean to. As more people start doing them, they'll get smoother and smoother although I'd say this is a great start, didn't look hucked at all compared to his triple wack in Alaska.

Also, anyone know how big that jump is? It looked like he threw it the same as most peoples doubles, so it must be pretty big.

First that was a triple cork, you're an idiot if you think otherwise. Second, that was fucking sick as hell grabbed high mute the entire trick, if you think that was hucked or ugly you have horrible taste in skiing.

Dayum. That was too sick. But it would have been nice if PBP kept that on the down low until the premiere. Seeing that on a big screen with everyone just goin nuts...

I have a feeling there will be plenty of surprise triples in this years movies. I don't know how you could top this one though

Bobby and Sammy are the only people who can grab mute and make it look dope in my opinion. The triple was so clean.

I saw his alaska triple live, and it was just as ugly. Bobby doesn't have style, he has the generic cookie cutter comp skier smootheness, but he doesn't have any style.

I agree that he doesn't seem to focus on style and when he does it seems forced, but I think its dumb that your judging a trick thats the first of its kind in skiing on style. I was expecting something hucked with a sloppy grab, but it ended up looking like it was thrown as hard as a lot of guys doubles, with a perfect grab the whole way through. Triples will get alot more stylie once contests start building bigger jumps for them, look at how smooth alot of the dubs were at JOSS last year on the JOI jump. But for now, I'd say this is pretty smooth

This comment just shows that you don't understand what the word style means.

Bobby does have style - you alluded to it in your post without even realising. His style is comp skier smoothness on the biggest/most tech tricks. What you are trying to say is that you don't like his style compared to others, not that he doesn't have any.

You're just making the assumption that the style you like the most is the 'right' one, and that if skiers don't have that exact style, then they don't have any at all. That's both arrogant and ignorant.
