BOBBY BROWN TRIPLE YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

switch 10s were the dub corks of today, they were thrown in every comp and were considered hucked. Look how styley casabon makes them look now. Triples could go that way eventually, and people need to recognize that.

your all stupid

im sure he was having fun while doing it, just as i have fun when i do my 360's

and its sick that he did it, we will wait to see the footage and we all want to see it NOW!

it ends there....

Bobby has the sickest dubs, and his switch double mistys are so stylie. If anyone was gonna set the bar with trips I would want it to be Bobby. Don't knock it till you see it, I hope we're seeing him throw sw triple misty 16s in two years

Sorry for the dub post, but I remember just a few years ago when the huge trick was a switch 10... crazy how much skiing has progressed in the last few years. And if someone already doesn't know, Chris Turpin already has thrown triple's... claim for him. He deserves more credit

Can't wait till triple 16s are like todays double 12s. Can't wait till next years x games big air. Quad 21 ?

Oh wait.

That is insanity. I mean props to Bobby for doing what he wants to do, but on the other hand, how many people can do dubs unnaty? And how many people can do a dub cork grabbing something besides mute, a dub flat grabbing something besides japan, and a switch dub grabbing something besides safety/japan? I mean progression is cool, and everyone pushes it how they want to, but I feel there are a lot of people who can do dubs that can't do all four 9's smoothly and with good grabs. I just personally have more respect for someone that can do everything every way and maybe doesn't have the popular big air trick in their bag, versus someone that only has a few unnaty tricks and relies on the same 1 or 2 tricks at every contest. But unfortunately, contest judging has seemed to show everyone that flipping/spinning more is better/more important than people doing everything every way with lots of different grabs.

tru tru

charles gagnier for example, this guy spins every single way possible, has legit grabs, yet he never even comes close to the podium in major comps. I agree with this: "I just personally have more respect for someone that can do everything every way and maybe doesn't have the popular big air trick in their bag, versus someone that only has a few unnaty tricks and relies on the same 1 or 2 tricks at every contest."

However, just because Bobby did a triple now, it doesn't necessarily mean that now every single skier is gonna go out trying to stomp triples left right and center. i don't think dubs are gonna be abandoned so soon.

lets all sit back and remember if aerialists are infact skiers, which they are, triples and quads have been standard for sometime. i think even chicks can do triples.

The reason I would discourage people from doing them is because it's been done.have you ever seen aerials? Big-air comps should not be the same thing as that.
and you just wait in about 6 years (or fewer hopefully) everyone in skiing is gonna be hating on the 10 super successful people who made it through double and hopefully not bu possibly triple flip mania because all they do is try to out jock each other.
That's what happened with skateboarding and snowboarding and rollerblading. In fact, the only "sport" where that attitude remains for most people involved is motocross. Why? Because that's the whole reason it was invented.
But go ahead and convince yourself that returning to the kinds of tricks that were popular in the 80's over bigger jumps I really don't care. But unlike you I have class and am not a frustrated 15 year old who attacks people personally for their opinions just because the internet is between us?

1. Not 15...lawls

2. Yah because dub flips back in the day are the exact same as the dub flips today....Pretty sure they didn't do double corks or switch double mistys or any of the doubles that people throw today back in the 80s.

3. Also...Doubles are here to stay...people arn't going to stop doing doubles...But hey in six years (or fewer) if I am wrong feel free to quote me and hate on me until than...you are dumb and get butthurt over doubles pretty easily.

I can't wait to see the footage...

of mike hornbeck doing a fs swup pretzel nollie 270 off on a handrail. Couldn't care less about that triple

this is why i hate this fucking site..even if someone threw a flawless trick with everyone in ahhhhh of what just happened, grabbed throughout and stomped with afterbang.....yall mother fuckers would find something to hate about it...seriously, get a fucking life and worry bout your own skiing or style getting better..have fun, and stop critiquing flawless shit....shut the fuck up...

SOOOOO FUCKING SICK BB!!!!

naw, just that for it to really be pretzel you have to change spinning direction after at least a 180 one way or the other, if you wanna split hairs about it

I agree with this.

I love seeing dubs and people progressing our sport and I don't think people should hate against them because shit has to be ugly and unstyley before it can get better. But on the other hand I love watching guys like Lolo or B-dog or Walker who just ooze with style.

But there are tricks for competitions and tricks for video parts.

naww u can spin on or you could swap and then same way spin off such as 270 pretzel 270 off bs swap to bs 270 off

It pretty much has to be a triple flat, it cant be triple cork.. guess it looks like a triple kangaroo-ish. just what im thinkin. props to him btw

I HAVE THE FIRST FOOTAGE OF THIS!!:

I honestly don't understand the slippery slope that people have made up where, because skiers do dubs and triples, freeskiers are becoming aerielists. Their(aerielists) rotations are on a completly different axis. Their jumps are built so that the first flip is a gimme. I have seen a POV from an aerielist and they pretty well can see their landing the whole. Short of the whole, aerielist's tricks are completly different than freeskiing tricks.
