Big shout out to our boy Bobby Brown for keeping the blunt grabs, not hucked rail tricks, and creative rail gaps in the X games! Somebodies gotta do it but they didn't let Tanner Rainville back in the X games this year!
 
I dig the fact that he changed up his run to go a little bit gnarlier at the end. Not many riders will change their run to get on top anymore.
 
i was very pleased to see that the judges put more emphasis on the rails. does anybody actually know who the judges were? van valin mentioned they were ex winter x athletes but didnt give names

I agree, Bobby is sick and does pretty unique jump tricks now, and is actually dope on rails. I've met him before and he seemed super stoked on skiing and happy.
 
I approve this thread. If Tom were to do those rail tricks everyone would think they were sick. The fact that Bobby threw something else in his run at the last second really stands out to me, and he had a trick no one else was doing.

Should have made a disclaimer. This thread was a direct response to the thread titled: Bobby Brown is Ruining Skiing. I just thought a counter argument would be appropriate. Bobby's contest run was less robotic than Toms just in case you didn't watch the contest.
 
ya because tom makes his rail tricks look alot better in general. However i doubt you will ever see tom do a k fed on a box in his run, fucking weak if you ask me. but his blunt dub looked great in his defense
 
Was anyone else doing the 2 on pretz 6 out? Literally every single skier conpeting there could've done an inverted 4 japan out, but only a couple could've pretzel 6'd out. And only Tom could've done two 6s in his run that fucking clean.
