Bobby Brown at 1000frames/sec

wait untill you guys see the style episode from freeski TV. So many amazing shots of Bobby and Woodsy all shot at high speed. It looks amazing.

i've always wanted a ski video with all real time shots like a skate video. The reality of the matter is that it is way more expensive and time consuming to get shots in skiing than it is skateboarding - especially when a helicopter is involved. The end result - a ski video with all real time shots would be a very short video.

I'd rather watch a short ski movie with a more realistic feel than a full length movie dragged out by slow mo shots. A few choice slow mo shots are appreciated, but filming whole segments real slow gets annoying. That being said, this was pretty cool

Have you ever seen the Art of Flight? What's better than slow mo and helicopters?

SLOW MO OF HELICOPTERS FUCK YA

the new unity film has some sick slow mo of woodsy doing a sw dub 10 (i think, maybe 14 havent seen the clip for a while) truck driver

definitely not the same shot hombre. He's wearing a tan UA hoodie and white pants in the first one from squaw, plus this newer slowmo vid looks like it was shot later in the day too.

The amount of mega slow-mo shots in Art of Flight pissed me off so much, get one early one in the film- everyone knows you're using expensive film equip. get on with film.

yeah, Level 1 had a lot of real time shots in their early days, but most of the footage was in the park, or other locations where it was easy and cheep to get shots. Not to mention how much easier it was to "get a shot" in the early days of freeskiing.

snowboard videos are getting pretty good at putting a lot of real time shots in their videos these days. Think Thank usually does a pretty good job if I recall. And I only watched the first half so far (and I was drunk), but this years Capita video "Defenders of Awesome" was really, really awesome for this as well... not to mention the riding in it is so... awesome.

i was just in the over rated / under rated thread and some one said tom wallischhow the fuck is tom wallisch over rated?

Yo dawg, i heard you like helicopters? So we got you a helicopter to film your helicopter that's filming your other helicopter that's filming your snowboarders.

those aren't really from a ski video either. park edits are not what I was referring to. I'm talking about professional ski videos.

side note: no ski video filmed in the park is a professional video in my books - yeah, I know, there's always a token park segment, but I wish there wasn't.

I got bored after 10 seconds. Nobody gives a fuck that you can shoot ultra-slow mo. Filmers with high-speed cameras are like teenage girls that just got photoshop and edit the living fuck out of their pictures because they think it "looks soooooo pweeeeetyyyy".

is it that you really can't distinguish the difference between a ski edit and a professional ski video, or are you just too immature to realize your mistake and admit you took me out of context?

it is ok to admit you are wrong sometimes.

i can distinguish a edit from a professional movie,

the thing is you said : i've always wanted a ski video with all real time shots like a skate video.

thats what i gave you ,

how am i wrong ?
